October, 2004  Sadly for us all, Lorri died June 26, 2004 after battling
cancer for many, many years.  I like to think that she's now with all
her beloved animals.  Southern Star Hero is the only progeny of
Zahress still living.  He is 22 years old this year and according
to his owner, he is still a beautiful boy.

Taken shortly after 'finding' Zahress in Illinois, USA.
She was a 3 year old in this photo.
You can see how pleased I am by the
smile on my face.
I have always been a lover of animals and in particular, horses.
My dream as a child was of one day owning a purebred Arabian.
This dream eventually came true when I went to live in the USA and found Zahress, a fact I consider to be one of the most fortunate things that has
ever happened to me.
Owning Zahress opened a whole new world, I have met people and gone places I never would have, had I not had her.  She and I travelled across
the world together and were the very best of friends.
I will never forget her.
This site is a memorial and a tribute to her and her offspring who have all had
their special place in my life and heart.  Although some are no longer with us
now, they will always be remembered with love.
So please enjoy your visit with us and I hope that this site will be a pleasant and informative
experience for you.
I would like to thank my sister, Coral Edwards, for creating this wonderful showcase as a birthday
gift.  Cos, you're one in a million!
My best wishes to you all,
Lorri
